Winter Artist Residency
Returning 2021

Artists and designers are invited to develop projects for two weeks living communally in the Catskills. The winter focus {inward} creates space for reflection, research, and quiet development of new or existing works.

Who is this for?

Who is this for?

This free winter program is available to artists or designers working in primarily visual mediums.  The multidisciplinary environment is designed to foster new connections and ideas, and the nature of the communal space makes it best suited for those who are excited to collaborate and connect over shared meals.

Please be advised that the weather in February is usually very cold and overcast. There is skiing nearby, but many outdoor activities won’t be available due to the season.

What's included?

  • Free lodging. There are 3 private rooms and a double shared loft equipped with comfortable necessities. There are 2.5 baths and a large newly renovated kitchen. The property itself is 5-acres including a large patio and lawn, as well as a small forested area. It is located in a rural community but still only 10 minutes from provisions.
  • Resources and recommendations for connecting with the Catskills community.
  • Participants are encouraged to discuss their work and share constructive feedback with others.

What's not included?
